Heavy Metal Bands Worth Seeing Live

     Heavy Metal . Music that created more controversy than any other genre of music yet heavy metal bands and songs are remembered years from  when first released .Honestly who remembers and who listens  what was on Pop charts 20-30 years ago yet any loyal metal fan remembers black sabbath, Dio, Iron Maiden.Music that has the most loyal fans and for a reason. Its good music.
     Heavy Metal Fans travel to other countries and even other continents to just see their favorite band play
Now the list i will create is my opinion and the bands here are in random numbers

1. Rammstein
Ze Crazy Germans. Being recently to their concert in Newcastle they worth every penny.A 2 hour extravaganza with all the crazy pyrotechnic tricks going on was more than worth the 50 pound ticket. They performed all the favorite songs and boy oh boy they put up a show

( easily offended people dont bother going)
Not by accident fans given them the motto "Other Bands Play Rammstein burns" ( hmm anyone's mind goes to a certain Manowar song ? )
                           

2.Manowar
Which brings me to none other than Manowar. They dont have the "loudest band in the world" motto for nothing you know
. Leather clothes, motorcycles, loud music and loyal fans. What more you want in a concert ?

3. AC DC

Its amazing how those guys are still rocking hard since the 70's and even more amazing is the energy and effort they put in their live shows. I'm 30 and probably wouldnt have the stamina doing what Angus and Brian do on Stage ( apparently its something they put in the water in the down under land ). Ac Dc also had 1 of the greatest frontman's. The late Bon Scott and thankfully for us the fans Brian Jhonson  is a worthy successor

4.Sabaton
Before seeing them in a small Festival here in Cyprus i knew very little about them ( Primo Victoria was the only song i knew about them ). But after an amazing performance in Ayia Napa festival i became an instant fan of the band . The energy they have on stage is amazing ( makes you wanna grab a gun and kill nazis for some reason )
They also communicate and joke with the fans all the time and that is a great think and shows how much they appreciate their fans

5.Iced Earth

I couldnt leave Iced Earth behind. My favorite band with Matt Barlow one of the best vocalist out there ( thankfully Stu is up to the task and he is quite good ). Saw them 2 times and both times they were great. Their last show here in Cyprus was nearly a 2 and half hours of constant headbanging ( 2 times came for an encore that shows how they care for their fans  ). Matts voice ( Stu now ) with Jon's galloping rhythm on guitar along double-bass drumming always gets the fans going

( their only live album was in Athens in Rodon club in what was imo their best live appearence with an amazing greek crowd )

6. Iron Maiden

Everything about Iron Maiden is BIG. Nearly 40 years of live appearances and those guys still are setting the standard of what a live appearance is. They dont have their own plane for nothing you know . Somehow Eddie must travel to 

Worth mentioning Down. I went to download festival last summer to mainly see SOAD . SOAD where good but something else catch my attention. A familiar voice. Oh wait is that Anselmo up there? Oh yes it is. Now i knew nothing about Down which is kinda embarrassing since i consider Pantera the best heavy Metal band to ever come on the scene. But yes Phil Anselmo is still the Man. He still has all that energy from when he was on Pantera. He knows how to make the crowd go crazy and Down have some good songs. What a great frontman and what a great performance that day 

All those bands definitely worth their 40-50 euro ticket. They worth even travelling to another country to see them. All those bands have loyal fans for a reason. Great live performances and they respect their fans and we respect them back by buying tickets to see them
